Whatever Taipei has cooperated with Saatchi & Saatchi Taipei to craft a unique immersive experience for the whisky brand The Glenlivet to celebrate its 200th anniversary.
By leveraging the 19-meter-high rotunda of the National Taichung Theater, we depicted the significant milestones of The Glenlivet over the past 200 years. Guests are led back to 1824, a time of waving barley and floating barrels, where they encounter the figures of founder George Smith and King George IV, the symbols of the brand’s innovative origins from the black market. From there, the written license epitomizes the brand’s establishment as the first legal distillery in the Livet Valley, while the bullet marks reflect the founder’s fearless attitude toward the smugglers. The show culminates in a time tunnel of cascading whisky turning into beams of light, heralding the next 200 years of boundless imagination.
