Within the whatever team, built using Google's generative AI "Gemini," everies combines AR, large language models (LLMs), and speech synthesis to create an entirely new experience, the ability to talk with any object around you, each with its own distinct personality.

Point your camera at the objects around you, and they open their eyes. Tap one, and it starts to talk. A cup, a stuffed animal, a vending machine—each becomes a unique character called an everie, with its own personality, look, voice, and way of speaking. Say something, and it says something back.
Tap the mic and ask anything. Each everie responds in its own distinct voice. Save your favorites and pick up the conversation where you left off.
The beta version of everies won the Best use of ARCore award at Google’s Gemini API Developer Competition, from among approximately 3,000 global entries.
