The theme of this year’s awards, “♡”, is a concept that is understood around the world without resorting to words. It is our hope that this symbol will be interpreted more freely and that a wide variety of ideas will be submitted from around the world. Based on this concept of “diverse interpretations,” the judges used hand-drawn graphics with ♡ overlaid on them as key visuals and used them in a variety of media. The trophy is designed to be worn like a medal with a heart at the position of the heart by hanging it from the neck like a medal.
