We created the project “Taxpayer-Purchased Books Through Hometown Tax Donations” to celebrate the release of Vol. 8 of the popular manga series “Zeikin De Katta Hon” from the Weekly Young Magazine by Kodansha. The tax money you donate to get this entertaining and educational manga will support a local library.
As a “hometown tax return gift” for Mishima City, the birthplace of the original author, Zuino-sensei, we have listed a set of related items for “Zeikin De Katta Hon” that allows donations for book contributions to the Mishima City Public Library. The library is deeply associated with the work as the author researched the mobile library on-site. Along with the basic set consisting of Vol. 1 to 8 of the comics and a limited edition original book cover, there are exclusive rewards to choose from, such as cameo appearances in the work and reproductions of original artwork, depending on the amount of your donation for book contributions to Mishima City Public Library.
The project lets you assist a municipal library by purchasing this entertaining, librarian-at-work manga through hometown tax donations.
Project in effect: Until December 31, 2023
[About Zeikin De Katta Hon]
Ishidaira is a delinquent who visits the library for the first time since elementary school. He realizes that he has yet to return a book he borrowed ten years ago, eventually leading him to work part-time at the library. What to do when you tear up a book you borrowed? Where and how to look up to know how a complex kanji character reads? It is a “librarian-at-work manga” that makes you want to go to the library, presented with friends who are strict about the library’s rules but nonetheless love books.
