For this first commercial film for SNOWS, we focused on how we could visualize the world of the brand. We came up with the idea of using the works of printmaker Kazuyoshi Otani, featured throughout the products’ packaging, as much as possible in making animations and visualizations. By exclusively integrating Otani’s existing print works, we depicted the memory of a winter walk with footprints as the main character. We tuned the commercial to give a sense of effortlessness when seen between other visually loud commercials with too much information so that people can experience a bit of mystic and relaxing time.
