androp “Hana”
Music video that live-casts projection-mapped flowers until they wither

We created a limited-time live stream music video for “Hana” (‘flowers’ in Japanese) by the Tokyo-based band androp. This unreleased fan-favorite is included in their greatest hits album—best[and/drop].

Using white lily flowers as a canvas, we projection-mapped footage and graphics of the four band members performing the song. The process of the flowers transforming with time was broadcasted via a 24-hour live streaming session from a studio in Tokyo. The projected images were programmed to automatically evolve with the wilting of the flowers, resulting in a music video that changed with time.
