OPEN HUB for Smart World - Mindscape Entry
At the entrance of OPEN HUB Park, the hub for NTT DOCOMO Business's co-creation program "OPEN HUB for Smart World," we created "Mindscape Entry." This experiential installation is designed to cultivate a collaborative spirit in every visitor.
Participants wear earphones with brainwave-sensing technology and stand before seven life-sized displays called 'Monoliths.' Music from the earphones guides them toward a state of synchronized brainwaves, which are then visualized in real-time as a topographical landscape. As their focus deepens, the terrain rises, forming a unique 'Mindscape' for each individual.
Based on the shape and depth of this terrain, as well as the brainwave data, generative AI transforms the completed Mindscape into a photorealistic scene. When multiple Mindscapes overlap, they create a singular, stunning landscape that helps cultivate a sense of team unity.
