We created digital art pieces for hotel koé tokyo, a boutique hotel located in Shibuya. The art pieces, which are placed outside all of the rooms, are fitted with motion sensors to function as interactive signage displays.
When movement is detected along the hallways, the animation content changes by playing a series of aesthetically pleasing wayfinding visuals that resemble sound waves—a motif inspired by the hotel name “koe”, which means “voice” in Japanese.
