We produced the “ART OF SHOPPING” generative movie project to be displayed on the indoor screens at the flagship shop of “@cosme TOKYO,” a brand providing a new experience-based shopping model, in front of JR Harajuku Station.

“ART OF SHOPPING” uses product images and information such as purchase time (POS data) from purchases made at @cosme TOKYO to generate kaleidoscope pattern video footage in real-time. This system was developed to generate a diverse array of visual designs from the latest store data by combining cosmetics products with a variety of @cosme proprietary data such as the number of reviews and best cosmetics. In addition, the system is affected by sales conditions in real-time. For example, when business is booming inside the store, the kaleidoscope designs move dynamically.
